Education on Human Rights and Research with Middle School Students in São Gonçalo do Amarante/RN
Human Rights; Education; Gender Ideology; Conservatism.
The present study searches in the school space and through the students of the State School of Integral José Moacir de Oliveira in the city of São Gonçalo do Amarante-RN, to raise evidence on the progress of conservatism in Brazil from the problems of gender and sexuality . The path chosen to start the study is aligned with the intervention plans in Human Rights Education and action research initiated in the year 2015, and continued in 2018 with the Master project. Here in the writing of the dissertation, the problems of gender and sexuality are as the main object of the research to understand the traditionalisms and guarantee the results of the discussions. In this sense, capital themes such as Gender Ideology, School Without Homophobia and School Without Party have become the beacon and the sociological background, through which the school context is the field of this production of knowledge. The post-structuralist studies of Butler, Foucault, and Bourdieu, also crossed by classics like Max Weber, were necessary for the presentation of a state of the art and a theoretical framework that would dialogue with the intervention plans and all data production of action research in the school space.
