In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of enrollments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who are increasingly entering basic education at an earlier age (Brasil, 2023). Given this scenario, simply ensuring the right to enrollment is not enough to guarantee inclusive education. One of the main challenges to the effective inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the precariousness in the continuing education of teachers who serve this population (Camargo et al., 2020). This study is based on Schmidt and collaborators (2019) in highlighting the reflection of one's own teaching practice as a primary factor in the teacher training process. This reflective attitude of the teacher regarding his/her teaching practice leads us to the autoscopy tool used by Sadalla and Larocca (2004). The main objective of the research is to investigate how the autoscopy process used as a tool in teacher training helps in the pedagogical practice of teachers of children with ASD. Specifically, it aims to identify the teacher's training demands and assist in relation to pedagogical practice with children with ASD and to collaboratively plan, based on the autoscopy of teaching practice, an intervention proposal that assists the teaching practice of teachers of children with ASD. The study included an Early Childhood Education teacher, an intern, and a child with ASD enrolled in a class at a Municipal Early Childhood Education Center in the city of Natal/RN. In this study, our reflections were based on a qualitative approach, in the light of action research based on the cyclical-spiral format (Franco, 2005; Braun, 2020) and is in the data analysis phase based on Bardin's content analysis (2015). As a product of the professional master's degree, a proposal for a training workshop based on autoscopy will be presented so that teacher trainers can use it to encourage reflection on teaching practice.
