InglêsTEACHING PHYSICS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS, CHALLENGES AND POSSIBILITIES
Educational robotics; Physics; education.
Physics is a science that makes you understand phenomena existing on planet
Earth and even outside of it that involves many other sciences such as
geography, mathematics, chemistry, technology. Physics teaching is generally
faced with an aversion by students, according to research and reports from
teachers, mainly because it requires students to have good proficiency in text
interpretation and mathematics. Physics requires students to associate facts in
order to obtain critical conclusions of the results, however the lecture is still the
main methodology used by teachers, using the textbook as the main tool, which
ends up failing to reach most students, theories and concepts are often in the
abstraction, in the example. Thus teaching physics is a great challenge for their
teachers, it is known that it needs a lot of experimentation with students so that
they understand the phenomena in a practical way by analyzing critically, so
educational robotics brings the possibility to differentiate and improve teaching.
of Physics for many times becoming a laboratory to apply all theory worked in
the classroom, so this work aims to develop activities of the discipline with
educational robotics, and to analyze how well-directed activities can contribute
to a better learning.
