MindMaps, Youth and Adult Education, Teaching - Learning
The present research constitutes the proposal of strategies for the use of Mind Maps that help in the learning of Young and Adults, through a case study in the class PROEJA of the Subsequent Course of Fishing Resources, located in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB) Cabedelo Campus. The pilot study was divided into two stages: The first stage was the case study, where it was possible to measure the main problems, needs and motivations of the subjects. This study allowed us to advance to the second stage, which was the construction of a learning object to assist in the construction of mind maps and its application in a workshop for the participant subject (subject A). Subsequently, we presented the content of legislation applied to fishing and aquaculture, a technical discipline present in the course curriculum, for subjects A and B, comparing the use of the traditional method of learning with the method of mental maps. With this information, it was possible to improve the tool that will be used in the final experiment and to previously analyze the effectiveness of mental maps as a learning strategy.
