AN ANALYSIS OF SELF-REGULATED LEARNING MEDIATED BY EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The present work aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of learning self-regulation strategies, with a sample of students from the Bachelor of Information Technology course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, during activities carried out in the Virtual Learning Environment and with the support of collaborative technologies. The object of study is the self-regulation of learning, where the student is the center of their learning process, and for it to occur it is necessary to have a relationship of processes that encompass the activation and maintenance of students' cognitions, motivations, behaviors and affections, planned cyclically, and adjusted with the aim of achieving your school objectives. In the higher academic context, self-regulation of learning acquires unique relevance, standing out as a determining factor for academic success and the development of skills. The methodology adopted in this research will be the interventionist method, with a qualitative data analysis methodological approach and to carry it out we will use questionnaire instruments, logbooks, self-regulatory activities with a sample of students from the BTI undergraduate course. One of the results of this research will be a technical product, a learning guide, in digital format, to promote Self-Regulation. The contribution of this research to IMD and PPGITE is to provide support for the academic success of these students, thus improving performance and approval throughout the course.
