SUMMARY:

The Law nº 13.415/2017 has provoked changes in the High School curriculum, which has become organized between Basic Core Education and Flexible Learning Pathways. The Resolution nº 3/2018 from the National Council of Education (NCE) allows up to 30% of the class hours of the Evening High School (EHS) curriculum to be held remotely, especially the Flexible Learning Pathways portion. In the Rio Grande do Norte state, the Ensino Médio Potiguar curriculum determines elective courses to be offered in a hybrid approach, through remote activities both synchronous and asynchronous. Without teacher training and structural conditions, the offer of hybrid elective courses may prevent ENS students from benefiting from quality education. Thus, this research aims to analyze the implications of a continuing teacher training proposal for EHS teachers within the scope of the Flexible Learning Pathways using a hybrid approach. In order to do so, some of the theoretical bases of the research are teacher training through Imbernón (2022), Gatti (2003) and Mercado (1999), as well as blended learning through Bacich; Tanzi Neto; Trevisani (2015), Valente (2014) and Staker & Horn (2012), including Flipped Classroom through Sams & Bergmann (2013) and Akçayir & Akçayir (2018), among others. The study can be classified as an action research (TRIPP, 2005) and research-development (FANTIN, 2017) from an exploratory perspective (MOREIRA & CALEFFE, 2006). Starting from the design and application of a characterization questionnaire, the research aims to offer a continuing teacher training course to EHS teachers, made available in a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), under supervision of the researcher. After the conclusion of the course, the data obtained through the activities held within the VLE, as well as recordings of the interactions in the synchronous moments and later application of an evaluation questionnaire will be analyzed with the intention of understanding what was the impact of the proposed intervention in the group studied.
