SUMMARY:

Public education policies each day gain more space in the educational field with the aim of inserting students with disabilities, which become more and more frequent in the classroom. In the search for the insertion of these people with disabilities in the teaching and learning process and in line with one of the research and development lines of the National Professional Master in Physics Teaching (MNPEF / SBF), Product Development and Approaches aiming at Physics content. Suitable for elementary and high school students, integrated with other subjects, we designed this project in order to contribute to the improvement of the teaching-learning process of these students, in accordance with the legal requirements of social inclusion in force. Rationale: Given the national scenario of compliance with current legislation, we see that schools are increasingly increasing the number of students with a disability, even without having adequate preparation for this purpose. Especially teachers have to look for ways to deal with this situation. The inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream schools is enshrined in legal texts; however, inclusive education is not limited to compliance with the law that recognizes and guarantees it, but requires a change in posture, perception and design of educational systems. This implies broadening the concept of special education and working for and for diversity, reformulating the principles, goals and curricula of schools from an inclusive perspective, instrumentalizing all learners, whether they are considered “normal” or “people with special educational needs”, to insertion and performance in society, thus exercising citizenship. This work brings didactic tools materialized in educational kits to be employed with high school students with such learning needs. Objective: To provide a pedagogical tool that facilitates learning in the classroom of students with learning disabilities, specifically in high school. This project aims to bring the classroom a theoretical and experimental magnetism content, where the practical part aims to consolidate the theory seen in the classroom, experiments adapted to the reality of the student and his daily life. So that new teaching methods bring diversification of learning of inserted students.


Methodology: The school chosen to apply this product was the Reis Magos Institute, located in the center of the Alecrim neighborhood of the capital city of Rio Grande do Norte. The class in which the project is being implemented is the 3rd grade A of high school. First questionnaire, pre-project, to know what they understand about magnetism in relation to: magnetic field, magnet characteristics, effect of electric current and others ...., however it was possible to make a common sense analysis of each student and provide a better assessment of learning. Next questionnaire, during the project, will be to evaluate the progress of the classes and understand the level of understanding of each class. Fourth and last questionnaire, post project, will be to close the completion of the work to certain of what has been done. At this point, students give project feedback, analyzing the positives and negatives so that they can make repairs at later times. ]
