BIG AREA: Ciências Sociais Aplicadas
AREA: Turismo
SUMMARY:

Currently, the individual-organization relationship has been increasingly recognized in the field of organizational identity, and is also a strategy to make companies more competitive. Human Resources Practices and Employee Organizational Commitment are examples of components that are recognized as valuable to a company's
success. In the hotel business, online reputation is a way of measuring success, as it can measure customer satisfaction. However, the relationship between Human Resources Practices, Organizational Commitment and Guest satisfaction among Brazilian Resorts is still unknown. Understanding such relationships can bring knowledge that help the elaboration of conceptual models applied to this branch of hospitality in Brazil. Thus, the objective of this research is to evaluate the relationship between Human Resources Practices, Employee Organizational Commitment and Guest Satisfaction at Resorts in Brazil and, based on this relationship, to create a People Management model for Resorts. The study will be characterized as descriptive, with quantitative approach, in which questionnaires will be applied in 165 Brazilian Resorts present on the TripAdvisor website. The research will be conducted in three stages: the first, with managers or representatives of Human Resources, through the Human Resources Practices questionnaire of Nadda et al. (2014); the second, with the reception sector employees, through the Medeiros Organizational Commitment questionnaire (2003); and third, by reviewing the overall service and ratings that these resorts received on the online reputation website TripAdvisor. Data will be evaluated using descriptive statistical techniques and structural equation modeling. At the end of the research, it is expected to find the relationship of Human Resources Practices, Organizational Commitment and Guest Satisfaction, thus creating an appropriate model for organizational achievements. It is also expected to contribute to the academic progress of the themes under study.
