SUMMARY:
In this work, a portable experimental apparatus was made as an educational product for teachers to overcome the lack of structure that schools, specifically, public schools do not have to carry out such an experimental practice. A didactic sequence based on the ISLE active learning theory was also developed, where students carry out experiments as the physical scientists themselves did at the time through an investigative method. The application of the didactic sequence will be done by the professor of the discipline who, by the way, is the author of this research. The realization of this work is based on giving a significant improvement in teaching about the vacuum and its relationship with some phenomena. The didactic instruments used, which are the experimental apparatus and the didactic sequence, were made to be applied in the discipline of Physics Full-Time High School students, specifically from the 2nd grade of High School at Escola Estadual Augusto Xavier de Góis – Full-Time High School, located in Muriú, belonging to the Municipality of Ceará-Mirim-RN with a duration of 6 classes, where each class has 50 min. From pre-test, explanations about the instruments to be used in experimental classes, both qualitative and quantitative, qualitative and quantitative experiments on the vacuum, experiment showing the applicability of the vacuum (Technological Application) and consequently its importance of the vacuum for our lives until the post-test.
