RESUMO:

Currently, with the evolution of construction techniques, the geometric design
previously defines the route of the highway, turning to be more current conceptions of
bridge designs skewed. The structural analysis of these bridges with skew longitudinal
geometry presents greater complexity when compared to straight bridge. Due to this
there is a shortage of research on the subject both nationally and internationally. Thus,
the main objective of this work is to do a study about the influence of the diaphragms
and the stiffness of the deck with skew longitudinal trajectory, in the support reactions
and the live load bending moment distribution in Reinforced Concrete Bridge. For this,
numerical models will be constructed for structural systems of bridges with Finite
Element Method through the software CSiBridge V20, for investigate the influence of
the addition of support transverse in the support reactions and in the bending moment
distribution on the bridges. Due to the complexity and the lack of research on the
subject, it is of fundamental relevance a greater amount of scientific contributions to
determine these effects more accurately. It is expected with the research that it is
possible to understand how the behavior of skew reinforced concrete bridges and thus
contribute to the improvement of the study of the structural analysis of this type of
structural system.
