SUMMARY:

The innovation in the education system appears to revamp a recurring educational model from past decades. Nowadays, the use of educational technology (ET), and digital information and communication technologies (DICT) in teaching have been allies in the teaching-learning process, as well essential yet inspiring tools for the new educational paradigms. The main question in this study originated from a concern about the theoretical issues, and practices regarding the absence of the innovative pedagogical skills in the education of post-graduation students. Bearing in mind that, the professorships as a teacher educator, these professionals need to be abreast of new tendencies of teaching alongside with new work systems, and even more, they need to reinvent themselves constantly in order to create new methodological propositions of teaching. In this context, the objective in the study is to analyze innovative educational strategies for teaching in post graduate education in tourism in Brazil, through a conceptual framework based on educational technology and digital information and communication technologies that might contribute to professors and students alike by training them in their pedagogical practices. In this regard, it is intended to contribute to the post-graduation professorships by aligning them to 21st century teaching methods. In addition, it is hoped that this study will assist the training of students in their learning process as a student, eventually, its applicability during their professional path by enhancing methodologies in their own classrooms. This is an exploratory descriptive study in which have both qualitative and quantitative facets. A systematic literature review (SLR) have been proceeded in order to provide a theoretical background support, and it certified its relevance in the tourism teaching field. It will be conducted it by using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) which has been used in many researches upon education field of study to identify the knowledge types. Therefore, professors might converge and align their pedagogical strategies of teaching using ET and DICT resources. The data will be analyzed through descriptive and content analysis with the help of statistical software and data organization and structuring. From the very recent studies, evidences have pointed out and show off a quite significant rise in the process of inserting the use of ET and DICT in teaching. Nonetheless, the present scenario reveals that there are great challenges to overcome in terms of the inadequate infrastructure, and professorships training to apply new models and teaching proposal in the classrooms and curriculum revision.
