This research will aim to develop and implement a didactic sequence for teaching the Law of Electromagnetic Induction, using a low-cost experiment associated with the operation of wind power generators. The proposal will be based on the Three Pedagogical Moments methodology, developed by Delizoicov, Angotti, and Pernambuco, and will be implemented with third-year high school students at Coronel Miguel Teixeira State School, located in the municipality of Jardim de Angicos, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The study will adopt a quantitative approach, using pre-tests and post-tests to identify students’ prior knowledge and assess their understanding of the concepts addressed. The didactic sequence will be organized into three sessions, comprising initial problematization, knowledge organization, and knowledge application. During the activities, students will build and use a low-cost experiment to observe the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction and relate it to the operation of wind turbines located in the region where they live. It is expected that experimentation combined with contextualization through wind energy will promote students’ interest, participation, and understanding of the physics concepts addressed, enabling them to establish connections between scientific knowledge and situations present in their daily lives. It is also expected that the use of low-cost experiments, integrated with the Three Pedagogical Moments methodology, will constitute a feasible teaching strategy for teaching the Law of Electromagnetic Induction, especially in schools with structural limitations for conducting experimental activities.
