The central objective of this dissertation is to explore how the creation of educational videos by students can contribute to teaching the socioenvironmental aspects of wind energy in the Seridó Paraibano region. The research is based on the assumption that students' active involvement in producing educational videos can enhance learning and raise awareness about the environmental and social impacts of wind park installations in the area. To achieve this goal, the study investigated the environmental and social impacts of the wind park installation in Canoas, Seridó Paraibano, along with key concepts in geographical science related to wind energy. Additionally, an exploratory study was conducted to assess how producing and presenting videos allows students to more easily assimilate geographical concepts compared to other teaching methodologies. In conclusion, student participation in creating educational videos proves to be an effective strategy for fostering meaningful learning and increasing awareness among students regarding the environmental and social impacts of wind energy.
