GEOGRAPHY LABORATORY AS LIVING SPACE: A HUMANIST PRACTICE.
Laboratory. Paradigm Humanist. Teaching Geography.
Considering the traditional classroom as an insufficient environment for the teaching of geography and questioning the teaching of this science by current teaching paradigms, the work aimed to develop a geography laboratory. It to be the pedagogical space for intellectual, physical, socioemotional and cultural experiences of the students by perspective of the intuitive method and of the humanist paradigm. In order to reflect on the bases of a more humanist geographic education, a study was carried out to characterize a laboratory at the Luiz Alves Lacerda State Technical School, obtaining from the theoretical foundation and observation of schools that develop a humanist education, a didactic-pedagogical proposal for the laboratory.
