SUMMARY:

The research project proposes the creation of a process observatory to analyze the practices used by startups, based on research that highlights the importance of process management and mapping for the survival of these companies. Data from SEBRAE reveal high mortality rates among individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs) and small businesses (MEs), mainly attributed to lack of personal preparation, poor planning and inadequate business management. Previous research highlights the need for solid organizational structure and well-defined processes for startups to succeed. The importance of teamwork and internal communication for the success of companies is also discussed here.It is concluded that the implementation of a process observatory can help in identifying and overcoming the challenges faced by startups, aiming to improve their chances of success and reduce the high mortality rates observed in the market.
