SUMMARY:

Pedagogical practices in the area of Visual Arts in search of the creative instant during classes, through drawing, were the motivation for the research questions, namely: how to reach the silence that is not asked for? Would there be the possibility of developing the creative instant on the school floor? Do the formative conceptions base the pedagogical practice for the poetic processes? In this sense, we have as general objective: to analyze pedagogical practices in the area of Visual Arts that promote the instants of creation, the expressive potentialities of the line in the drawing of the students of the Escola Estadual Profa. Ivani Machado Bezerra, with the group belonging to the age group between 15 and 18 years old, this being the locus of our research that should culminate in a pedagogical proposal for High School. And more specifically, carry out a survey through oral, written and imagery testimonials about the students' aesthetic experiences, weaving relationships with the nature of the creative instant in Art classes; discuss the role of line in works of art during image readings; present exercises that make it possible to release the line in the students' visual compositions; show the set of works on the line in the visual compositions produced by the students; to compose a pedagogical proposal for High School in Visual Arts that considers the relevance of drawing for the freedom of creation. It is a qualitative research, as well as an action research. Therefore, the research is justified by the need to promote the making of art at school. The theoretical-methodological bias that underlies the investigation follows the lines of thought of the authors Cecília Almeida Salles (2011), Fayga Ostrower (2013), Mirian Celestes Martins (1998), Ana Mae Barbosa (2010), John Dewey (2010), Jorge Larrosa (2021), Edith Derdyk (2020), as well as the poetics of artists Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. The text is structured by the initial considerations, followed by four chapters entitled: In search of the silence that one does not ask for; Theoretical Framework: warp that interconnects and sustains the investigation plots; Methodology: intertwining creation processes; by sewing together poetic ideas and final considerations. It is important to point out that the data collection was obtained through the feedback of activities focused on the aesthetic experiences forwarded during the elaboration of the pedagogical proposal in Arts.
