RESUMO:

The objective of the research was to construct a tool to assist the disclose of the discarded
materials at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). A study of preliminary case
was realized at the project “Reuse is much better”, in which the objective was to receive the
discarded materials, analyze, recycle and make it available to reuse. Through this study was
possible to identify the approach used to disclose the recovered materials, realized without
integration with the UFRN’s patrimony system. Making it impossible that the users realized
researches for the desired materials. To reach the objective, the approach of the collaborative
design was adopted, involving the users, teams of development, web and design from SINFO.
Through interviews and meetings between the development team and the users it was elaborated
a flowchart, in which assisted the all other steps of the development of the prototype. Then, the
design teams and web were added to the process, initializing the work of elaboration of the brand
and creation of the prototype of low fidelity, with intention of materialize all the content
collected. After, an exploratory study at used products publication websites was realized, with
the purpose of identify functionalities to add value to the prototype. With the requirements,
flowchart, functionalities of others websites and prototype of low fidelity, the construction of the
prototype of high fidelity was initialized obeying the Nielsen heuristics (1994) adapted to web.
