RESUMO:

The Information Systems are products that help users to execute tasks, however
difficults on user interaction with these products are common. These difficults are
due, many times, to mistakes on the design that makes the systems unsuitable
to users and prevents the satisfactory use. On the other hand, in the day-to-day
of organizations, beyond of deal with system interaction difficults, employess are
conducted to execute bureaucratic and/or dull tasks which, while importants, can
not engage the user. Similar situation was noted in the Federal University of Rio
Grande do Norte – UFRN at some tasks available in the institucional systems.
Aiming to improve part of the system and engage the user, the UFRN executed
the Gamification Project, In mid-2015 early 2016. The Gamification has ocurred
on the LNC (Levantamento de Necessidades de Capacitação), one tool available
on the SIGRH, the Human Resources System, and has adopted the UserCentred Design – UCD – in the Project execution. The choice of the LNC was
due to some reports of lack of engagement by the users added to complaints
about the usability of the tool. This paper has looked for search the LNC
gamification process, by verifying the UCD characteristics adopteds during the
gamification and how this has influencied the results obtained. It was sought to
evaluate with the user, if the change made in the system was positive and if there
were still aspects to improve in the LNC. The survey showed that most users
approved the change, but also revealed several issues that could be improved
and that could have been remedied with changes in the Gamification process.
Finally, the research shows that there are other points to be addressed in order
for the tool to satisfactorily meet the range of users and their needs, among them
the issue of accessibility to systems that was not contemplated in the
gamification.
