RESUMO:

In the present study, the Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCR) theory is being tested in order to assess if these theory is significant as a natural forcing (individually or jointly) to explain of natural climate changes. The correct understanding of the role of natural and anthropogenic forcing on climate is one necessary requirement to reduce the uncertainties associated with climate projections. Thus, it was decided to reconstruct the air temperature between 1750 and 2015, adopting a simplified climate model to represent the action of anthropogenic forcing (CO2) and natural forcing (GCR), this new model is being called of Experimental Model for Climate Changes (EMCC). The EMCC is a modified version of the Global Resolved Energy Balance (GREB) model, the main objective of this work being the reconstruction of the surface air temperature, Tsurf. The original temperature data series were divided into two parts: Past Climate (CP), between the years 1750 and 1880, and Recent Climate (CR), between the years 1880 and 2015.The preliminary results suggest that the simulations of the Tsurfwere more representative when the RCG and the CO2 acted simultaneously as forcers. It is also intended to add the influence of volcanic eruptions to the EMCC, which will provide Tsurf reconstructions even more realistic.
