This thesis aims to analyze the tourist memory of residents generated from the Fanpage of Salvador City Hall. The research focuses on the communication of the tourist city, considering interactive processes in the physical and virtual spaces as the object of contemporary communication. A transmetodological perspective (Maldonado, 2013) was developed, with the articulation between the critical-dialectical (Martins, 1994) and retroduction (Peirce, 2005) methods. The methodological procedures include documentary research, semi-structured interviews with municipal managers, participatory observation at events and tourist attractions, analysis of tourist publications structure on the Fanpage of the City Hall and the construction of the semiotic equation. This corresponds to the definition of nine categories of analysis of the tourist memory, through the equivalence between the discursive regularities of Michel Foucault (2014) and the Charles Sanders Peirce (2005) triadic categories. The process of analysis is set in this order: monitoring Fanpage, selection of tourist interactive processes, contact with residents who commented in tourist publications, implementation of issues dealing with categories of analysis memory, data tabulation and participant observation in the residence of people interviewed. For the selection of respondents, the following criteria were considered: having commented on the City Hall's tourist post a week after publication, living in Salvador and accepting participation in the research. The interactivity with the follower involved the identification of his place of residence, ‘stalking’ his profile, likes in his post on the social network and contact by Messenger. The research identified an idyllic tourist memory, which considers tourism as a second reality, resembling a game of pleasure and instinctual memory, establishing tourism as a specific culture of the city built from the movement of residents. The tourist culture is endowed with frictions, in which the resident tries to balance the pleasures and anxieties that fuel their daily lives while producing symbols that have the power to attract tourists. Still, according to the survey, tourist posts on the Fanpage of the City Hall of Salvador correspond to a structural coupling that brings together characteristics of journalism, advertising and entertainment, establishing itself as a consensus device. It is understood that the production of tourist communication in Salvador does not require the construction of a socio-digital system that establishes connections between processes of interactivity and interaction. The system includes the production of residents' content as discussion, proposes direct articulation between economic and social sectors with the City Hall and also establishes rhizomatic constructions through different media platforms that allow a semiotic mapping of all city areas and collaborates for the development of urban planning. The socio-digital system fosters governance processes, convergences, meaningful participation and educommunication, in addition to suggesting that public communication in the tourist city takes on six dimensions: institutional, political, internal, social, technological and market.
