RESUMO:

With the advancement of the internet, travel planning goes through paradigm shifts. Online reviews are becoming increasingly important information sources for buyers with a 20-50% impact on online purchasing decisions (Thakur, 2018). These assessments are based on the consumer experience, among the natural constituents of the experience are the customers' emotions, among them the customer delight (Ali, Kim, Li, & Jeon, 2018). The study of the antecedents of delight may help managers to predict the emotional responses of consumers from a projected experience (Silva, 215), and many of the investigations that dealt with this theme adopted theme parks as context, since the visitation to this type of establishment is an experience in which emotions play an important role in the quality of tourists' experience (Ma, Gao, Scott, & Ding, 2013). In this context, the present study intends to investigate the relationship of dependence between the antecedents considered as able to influence the customer delight in theme parks based on the online travel reviews (OTRs). The survey will be hypothetical-deductive, being an applied and descriptive study regarding its nature and its objectives, having a quantitative analytical approach. According to the extension of the field of study, the research will be a Survey’s transversal section. The data will be collected from past five-year visitor of the world's best theme parks, voted by the Traveler's Choice, annual award from TripAdvisor.com., The world's largest travel site. After taking immersion in the readings of the experiences on the TripAdvisor site, research methods will be the Content Analysis, descriptive statistics and the multivariate analyzes, such as Exploratory and Confirmatory Factorial Analysis and the Modeling of Structural Equations.
