RESUMO:

This study investigated the use of filmic resource in the classroom on the perception of future turismólogos as a methodological strategy of teaching and learning directed to multidisciplinary tourism content. Therefore, there was a literature which are some considerations: the university in Brazil and a discussion of the valuation of research and impoverishment of education in higher education and training of tourism professionals; brief points on the process of planning methodologies of teaching and learning strategies; Finally, the inclusion of audiovisual resources in Brazilian education and good practices in the application of the films in the classroom. The research is justified because it is necessary to understand the educational application of filmic resource as innovative methodological strategy in the classrooms of undergraduate courses in tourism, as well as in other areas of knowledge. Was used as research methodology the multiple case study, exploratory, qualitative character. For data collection was used semistructured interview and used content analysis to evaluate the responses of the students in two Higher Education Institutions - IES, the federal public sphere. As a result, the survey found that: most students think that the filmic approach is profitable, despite being little used in classrooms of here surveyed tourism courses; affect the performance of the film as a strategy the lack of community cooperation in the classroom and the misuse of the strategy by the teacher; that there is a plurality of cognitive contributions provided by the film in the classroom, the main one being the interaction between theory and practice, where coparticipa student of the film experience. According to students, the film is also an educational front motivating the monotony of traditional teaching, such as lectures. However, excess filmic views also discourages, the ideal is to use sparingly. In terms of effective use of the film in the classroom, opens the prospects of students for reflection and metacognition. The film in the classroom also provides gains in knowledge, changes attitudes to deepen the content and increases skills exemplifying practices.
