Hatha Yoga; State of presence; Research methodology
In the scope of Performing Arts, research methodologies emerge in which artistic experience is seen as an agency of research itself, in response to the new dynamics of the artist/researcher/teacher. In this sense, this work presents personal practical experience as a research methodology. Thus, the artist/researcher's investigation into her own practice of Hatha Yoga is discussed, raising questions and reflections on the state of presence of the artist/researcher/teacher. The work has a phenomenological approach, which seeks to understand the subjectivity present in the research process, through reflection in the logbook, video recordings, audios and images produced during the research.
