SUMMARY:

The point of this thesis is to introduce Nietzsche’s “Übermensch” and the “Post-human” of transhumanism as the overcoming of man. In our presentation it will be pointed out that the Übermensch is similar to the Post-human, meantime, it will be shown that the assumptions thought by the German philosopher for the overcoming of Man are divergent from the assumptions of transhumanism. In this development, it will be sustained that the Übermensch and the Post-human are somehow dissimilar.
