SUMMARY:

Based on the challenges present in the school context related to the inclusion of students with disabilities and the proposed restructuring of Brazilian High School, this study aims to analyze the construction of the Life Project for students with disabilities in High School at a public school in Rio Grande do Norte. The theoretical framework is based on legal discussions such as the equal right to education (Brazil, 1988), the Brazilian Law on the Inclusion of People with Disabilities (Brazil, 2015), and the curricular restructuring of High School (Brazil, 2018). This study also highlights contributions from historical-cultural psychology (Vygotsky, 1995) and the concept of educational inclusion (Mantoan, 2003). Methodologically, this study is structured as qualitative research with a descriptive-exploratory profile and will be conducted at a public high school in the state education system, located in the city of Taipu, Rio Grande do Norte. The outcome will be the creation of a Manual on the Life Project of students with disabilities, with suggestions for annexing it to the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the researched institution. It is expected that this study will contribute significantly to the inclusion process of students with disabilities, both within the school context of high school and beyond, fostering a participatory and humanized construction that encourages youth protagonism through their life projects, seeing this space as a process of construction and perspectives for the student, even in light of their specificities.
