SUMMARY:

Thinking about Inclusive Education is looking for tools and strategies to provide work that aims at the participation and inclusion of students who are the target audience of Special Education. Collaborative work among professionals is one of the aspects that can help in this inclusive process. In this sense, we seek to identify the needs in relation to the inclusion of students who are the target audience of Special Education and the collaborative work with the teachers of the Dom José Adelino Dantas State School, located in the North Zone of Natal/RN, and to develop training in this area context. Thus, the general objective of the research is to develop, implement and evaluate continuing education, with a view to organizing collaborative work for the inclusion of students target audience of special education, together with elementary school teachers, management, coordination, special education teachers, interpreter of Libras of the School. In addition to identifying the training needs in relation to the inclusion of these students, the following specific objectives are established: to discuss the pedagogical strategies used by teachers in teaching work with students; to develop, with the teachers, strategies to plan the work in a collaborative and articulated way; produce, based on discussions with teachers, material that supports the organization of collaborative work for inclusion. The Historical-Cultural and Activity Theory is a subsidy both for the conduction of training and for the foundation and reflections of the research. The concept of expansive learning presented by Engeström (2016) stands out, whose objective is the reflection, construction and transformation of a collective learning in search of change in the activity developed by the subjects. Continuing training started in October 2021, with five meetings held online; it was designed based on the proposal of training intervention, presented by Engeström (2011), and aims to create spaces for sharing and building learning for the organization of collaborative work. It is, therefore, collaborative research whose main locus of data production is training; semi-structured interviews will also be carried out with the institution's professionals after the training process is concluded, aiming to reflect on the impacts that this process had on the structuring of their pedagogical praxis. The training will continue in 2022, aiming to improve the discussions already started in the collective search to solve the daily problems of these teachers and the production of collective knowledge applicable to their daily lives.
