SUMMARY:

This work presents a modeling for the flight analysis of a VS-30 rocket from the Alcântara launch base (CLA). The atmosphere modeled for this analysis was considered to be an ideal type atmosphere, instead of the traditional ideal atmosphere approach. The study of the equations that govern the mechanics (dynamics) of the rocket's flight was carried out in three different reference planes in order to consider the different effects of the very movement of the planet Earth and the forces existing throughout the entire mission. The method employed for numerical computation for the solution of the differential equations chosen was the Euler method, due to its relative simplicity. In order to obtain another parameter for reference, data such as Mach, variation of forces, density, elevation and azimuth angles, temperature, pressure and acceleration for the vehicle are also presented in the work. All of these considerations were implemented in Matlab.
