PRACTICES AND KNOWLEDGE IN HEALTH EDUCATION: CONSTRUCTION AND VALIDATION OF A GUIDANCE INSTRUMENT TO THE HEALTH CARE OF KIDNEY TRANSPLANTED PATIENTS.

SUMMARY:

The study has as its object the knowledge and practices used in health education of kidney transplant patients. The objective of this research is to build a Health Handbook, aimed at this audience. The health booklet of the kidney transplant patient, with post-transplant guidelines, like intended to be a facilitating element, which helps the patient in monitoring his new treatment, aiming at comprehensive care. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, with a methodological path of convergent care research (PCA), a method that allows the convergence between professional research and practice concomitantly. The scenario of the study is the kidney transplant clinic at the University Hospital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, the interviewed  addressed will be the patients who underwent kidney transplantation at HUOL at least 5 years ago, as well as the professionals, from the multiprofessional team, who work in monitoring the follow-up of outpatient post-transplant treatment. The research is divided into two stages. At first, interviews will be conducted online with transplant patients. This moment will follow a script arranged by an instrument and the meeting will take place through the application of video calls, in order to safeguard them from the risks associated with the state of emergency of public health resulting from Covid-19. The instrument consists of socio-demographic-cultural characterization, direct questionnaire-type questions and open questions for semi-structured interviews. The second moment will be the validation of the material that was built from the answers obtained in the first moment. The validation will be done using the Delphi technique, in which the specialists will evaluate the pertinence and the relevance of the contents of the booklet, through interactive rounds (round) that promote feedback, so that the participants can reflect and from that, maintain or modify their opinions on the proposed theme. The IC for professionals will be sent through an electronic platform so that they become aware and accept, or not, to participate in the study. Ethical aspects will be taken into account, according to Resolution No. 466/2012-CNS. The analysis of the data will be carried out with the support of programs: IRaMuTeQ (Interface of R pour les Analyzes Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires), and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science). The transplanted health booklet has an advisory character, as it will consist of content related to health care after kidney transplantation, but it also brings the possibility that the individual can personalize the document, with the insertion of their health data, their consultations, results exams and this document will support your self-care process.
