SUMMARY:

Several public administration agencies have sought to implement and develop Quality of Work Life programs for their employees and collaborators. In general terms, these programs aim to increase the well being of these workers in the organizational environment. On the other hand, many difficulties are reported in the implementation of actions and projects, such as the absence of situational diagnoses that subsidize the construction of interventions and the lack of minimum indicators that allow the monitoring and evaluation of the results obtained. In this context, this research project proposes to deepen the study of Quality of Work Life at
the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), specifically, in its rectory. The starting point of the study will be anchored in two problematizing questions: How do the workers of the IFRN's rectory evaluate their Quality of Work Life? How should the Quality of Work Life project be based on the needs of these workers? To answer both, the following objectives were defined: General - to elaborate a Quality of Life at Work project for the IFRN's rectory workers. Specific - to carry out a diagnosis of Quality of Work Life of the workers; to characterize the factors that cause wellbeing (potentialities) and uneasiness (fragilities) in the organizational environment of the IFRN's rectory; and to elaborate a logical set of interventions that strengthen the potentialities and overcome the observed organizational fragilities. The methodology of action research will be used. The study place will be the IFRN's rectory and the population, the 129 workers who work there. Initially, a situational diagnosis of Quality of Work Life will be carried out using the Evaluation Inventory of Quality of Work Life (IA-QVT) of Ferreira (2017). After obtaining the data from the diagnosis, a discussion group will be set up to consolidate this data and later prepare a project on Quality of Work Life on place. The information obtained from the application of the quantitative part of the IA-QVT will be systematized and consolidated through the statistical analysis software SPSS. The information from the qualitative part of the inventory and the discussion group will be inserted in the IRAMUTEQ software and systematized through the analysis of thematic content. As a result of this study, we intend to create a Quality of Work Life project based on the needs of the IFRN's rectory workers.
