Unified Health System (SUS) during the COVID-19 pandemic highlights the need for a new architecture based on interoperability and integration. The Digital Health Strategy for Brazil 2020-2028 and the National Health Information and IT Policy are important SUS initiatives in this context. This professional master's degree work aims to specify and build an architecture to integrate health information produced by the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) through a Health Data Network (RDS-RN). The project uses the action research methodology and the Scrum development process. Partial results include the creation of an integrated architecture connected to the SUS Strategic Management Intelligence Center (CIEGES), in which RN's digital health ecosystem is centralized, for example, systems such as RN Mais Vacina, Regula RN, Regula Leitos and Regula Vascular, PEP+RN (Hospital Management). Furthermore, the SUVEPI project is also integrated into CIEGES. It is expected that RDS-RN will promote significant improvements in access to health services, optimizing the flow of clinical information and supporting the decisions of health professionals and expanding social control. In short, several health information systems in the SUS technological ecosystem in RN have already been integrated and are ready for use, with future plans to include new ones, such as surveillance.
