BLACK GLOB: DIDATIC SEQUENCE FOR HEAT PROPAGATION PROCESSES AND THERMAL RADIATION
Didactic Sequence Proposal. Vernon Globe. Thermology. Significant Learning of Ausubel. Science Teaching by Research.
This product is a proposal of didactic sequence as a potentially significant material for heat propagation processes and thermal radiation, applied to the second year of high school, using a technical experiment, known as Vernon globe, black globe, globe thermometer or globe-thermometer, which indicates the Radiant Thermal Load (CTR- Stefan-Boltzman's Law) and the Average Radiant Temperature (TRM). The process of data analysis together with the students is based on Ausubel's Signitive Learning Theory and on The Teaching of Science by Research by Ana Maria Pessoa Carvalho. Thus, it is expected that the results of this activity facilitate the students' understanding of the concepts of Temperature, Heat and Black Body Radiation, contributing to the learning of Thermology, with the perspective of being considered a substantial innovation in the teaching process.
