ENGLOBAGEO: Proposals for active methodologies for the study of landscape in Geography classes for 6th grade elementary school classes

The study and understanding of landscapes as well as their transformations is of great relevance for the teaching of Geography in basic education. Given the educational settings required by the new BNCC, it is necessary for teachers to have materials in their hands to adapt the contents of the textbook to the reality in which students are inserted. It is understood that teaching and learning in Geography are achieved from the methodologies proposed by teachers. These are fundamental in the observation and investigation of different situations and different socio-spatial phenomena. Therefore, this professional master's degree aims to produce a manual for teachers with methodological proposals for Geography classes in elementary school. This methodology is called Englobageo, capable of promoting interactivity and consequently learning through Games, videos, photographs that are very important tools for improving the skills required of the component at this stage. It is hoped that this manual can contribute satisfactorily to Geography classes and that students can understand and analyze the concept and transformations of the landscape of their place of living, making the teaching and learning process more enjoyable for both the student and the student. as for the teacher. The basis for deepening this work are authors such as Milton Santos (1994 and 1998), Andrade (1987), Cavalcanti (2012), among others, in addition to the documents that govern education in Brazil, in Ceará and in the municipality where the research was applied. , Juazeiro do Norte, such as the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC and the Reference Curricular Document of Ceará - DCRC and the structured material produced by the Municipal Secretary of Education - SEDUC of the mentioned municipality.
