Abstract - This work had as objective the construction of a scholarbook on the theme of ‘Wind Energy for application in the Teaching of Geography’. He presented as a methodological path: analyze how this theme is approached in textbooks; To find together with the teachers how they work the theme in the classroom, what are the difficulties and strategies; And analyze Wind Energy geographically. The analyzes carried out revealed a fragmented and isolated approach to this topic in school geography. The lack of contextualization also composes this set of problems that make the subject little explored, despite being one of the expanding activities, mainly in Rio Grande do Norte. It is understood that there is a need for complementary materials, such as this one produced, to assist in this approach. Thus, the information collected in these steps, after analyzed, converged to the composition of the final product: the book titled ‘Geografia da Energia Eólica’, composed of five units. Focusing on the development of this theme in the classroom, the scholar book was complemented with an application proposal that highlights the use of other didactic resources and strategies to teach this theme. It is understood as an important part of this work, in addition to the final product, the research with the teachers, information verification directly in the wind farms and the process of writing and rewriting the book, and can serve as inspiration for the production of new materials, on new topics, thus contributing to Geography and its practice in school.
