STRATEGIES AND COMPOSITIONAL PROCEDURES APPLIED THROUGH IDIOMATIC TRANSFER
COMPOSITION. IDIOMATISM. IDIOMATIC TRANSFER. DRUMS.
In the Composition, the creative process is established in a set of activities that has the main axis the elaboration of a work. However, Composition is in a constant transformation due to its relation to the creative process. In this process it includes, guidelines for the route of this course to be adequate, the lifting of material for the treatment through techniques has become a common practice. With this in 2010, we had access to the audio data of the Eternal Interlude compact disc, registered by John Hollenbeck Large Essemble. The influence of the composer in our work happened from affinities as a composer and instrumentalist. During this process it was possible to perform the mapping of strategies for the elaboration of rhythmic and melodic structures that characterize their compositional work. In a close observation, we detect peculiarities in the rhythmic treatment analogous to drums. BERENDT and HUESMANN (2014), the drum ceases to be an accompanying instrument only to gain a multilateralism, generating a complexity compared to the baroque melodic lines. This peculiarity has led us to identify characteristics in the work of the composer that figure a Idiomatismo of his work according to VASCONCELOS (2002). This work has the purpose of presenting the idiomatic transference as a means for an invested in the compositive action.
