The current work will discuss about the Concertino for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra by José de Lima Siqueira an interpretive approach. It is repertoire for clarinet soloist and a chamber orchestra written and dedicated to a Brazilian clarinetist José Botelho (Rio, 1931). This research is justified because there aren’t any reports to collaborate or even disclose about this work. The Concertino for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra by José de Lima Siqueira is a piece that isn't well known in the Brazilian and international clarinetist music scenario. The amount of José de Lima Siqueira’s works still remain in manuscript, in private collections of family members or interpreters to whom José de Lima Siqueira dedicated his pieces. Therefore, the goal of this study was to investigate one of the possibilities interpretative of the work and collaborate with its disclosure. As methodological procedures of this work came from interviews, literature reviews, laboratory testing, structural analysis of the music, experience reports and data collect. This work aims to contribute to the development of Brazilian music for clarinet, focusing mainly on the Concertino for Clarinet and José Siqueira Chamber Orchestra and also bringing this work to the universe of Brazilian clarinetist repertoire.
