SUMMARY:

The main objective of this research is to analyze the current fire safety situation at the Frasqueirao Stadium, owned by ABC Futebol Clube, located in Natal-RN, and to propose technical and architectural solutions for the rehabilitation of the building, aiming to meet the requirements of current legislation and ensure the safety of users. The research began with on-site visits and an in-depth analysis of the stadium, including the identification of its construction characteristics, occupancy, and existing safety systems. Subsequently, a literature review was conducted on the standards and technical instructions related to fire safety in sports buildings, with an emphasis on the state legislation of Rio Grande do Norte. Based on the data collected and the analysis of the legislation, the main deficiencies of the stadium in relation to fire safety were identified. From this analysis, several interventions were proposed, ranging from the adaptation of evacuation routes, maximum travel distances, emergency exit solutions, and the implementation of passive protection measures.
