PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AT THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF CARIRI: ANALYSISOF POLICIES AND PRACTICES FROM THE PERCEPTION OF INSTITUTIONALACTORS

The importance of people in public organizations to generate public value to society, whichincreasingly demands responsibility and quality results from the State, is unquestionable.Considering this relevance of people to assist public management to meet and respond tothe needs and demands of citizens, this study aims to know what evaluation the variousinstitutional actors make about the policies and practices of People Management (GP) at theFederal University of Cariri (UFCA), so that an overview of this function can be achievedin the institution, based on this research. For this, the study proposes to carry out an appliedand descriptive research, through the collection of data that will be collected from theUFCA servers, through the application of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews.After collection, the data will be treated using software and/or spreadsheets in quantitativeanalysis and with the content analysis technique for qualitative data, for the duepresentation of the results. It is expected with the results to contribute to the continuousimprovement of UFCA's people management.
