EVALUATION OF DIABETIC CARE MANAGEMENT IN THE ADSTRIED POPULATION OF SEVENTH REGIONAL HEALTH OF THE RIO GRANDE DO NORTE

The Chronic Non-Communicable Disease (CNCD) Care Network Model following the logic of Primary Care Management was implemented in Rio Grande do Norte as a way to address the problem of chronic diseases. The State Regulatory Complex responsible for coordinating the flow of users on the network has, in its register, 82% of diabetics. Of these, 73% are assigned to the 7th State Health Regional, which accounts for 38.2% of the state's population. The verification of the effectiveness of a policy necessarily requires its evaluation, and it is up to the Public Manager to appreciate the results delivered to society, such assumption leads us to the theoretical framework that will address the public policies of confronting the CNCD, evaluation of public policies and their typology, and will give us the foundation for a research question: What assessment can be made of Diabetic Care Management according to the Model proposed by the Ministry of Health? The present research has as its specific objectives: to investigate the professional-public policy-users set by verifying the knowledge and adherence of diabetic users regarding self-care, as well as analyzing the adequacy of Care Management in Basic Health Units of the 7th Regional RN's Health For this purpose, a descriptive research of quantitative-qualitative and field, bibliographic and documentary, observational and cross-sectional will be made, which allows data collection through form and questionnaires (ACIC and PACIC). It is expected to contribute to the studies developed in the field of Public Policy, its Evaluation and improvements in Diabetic Care Management.
