Supply Management at the IFPB-Campu Picuí: an intervention proposal
Management of the Supply Chain. Quality management. Quality tools.
The present work seeks to analyze the Material Supply Chain of the IFPB - Picuí through Quality Management tools in order to identify the problems encountered at all stages of the chain and thus to identify the possible causes for again through tools of quality, to seek solutions in order to remedy such problems and to make the Supply Chain more efficient and consequently with less waste of public money. The supply chain of material in a public institution consists of the process from the identification of the need to request something, its planning, its request, the purchase, the arrival of the material in the institution until its delivery to the end user. Thus, an error at the beginning of the process can trigger new errors along the entire chain, justifying the whole process analysis. Thus, through quality tools such as Brainstorming, Pareto Chart, Flowchart and FMEA, the main problems will be identified. The analysis of the causes will be made from tools such as Cause and Effect Diagram or Ishikawa Diagram and 5W3H. To propose solutions will be used the tools Tree Diagram, 5W3H, Kanban and Check list. The methodology will be done through bibliographical and documentary research, for later data collection through seminar and semi-structured interviews. After this discussion will be presented a proposal of intervention to the Campus studied with the intention of tracing possible solutions to the problems encountered.
