Institutional Image; Events; Ceremonial; Protocol; Action plan
Events, especially official ceremonies and ceremonies, require compliance with rules and protocol acts, and when well planned and executed they contribute to projecting a positive image of institutions. In this context, this work aims to develop a Ceremonial Action Plan and Protocol to guide the holding of solemnities, public ceremonies and events within the scope of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. To this end, it presents the following specific objectives: mapping the main ceremonies, ceremonies and events held in Academic Centers within the scope of UFRN and its protocols; verify compliance of protocols adopted by UFRN at events with public ceremonial
standards; identify the difficulties encountered in carrying out public ceremonies and ceremonies at UFRN; and systematize rules and protocol acts to guide the planning and execution of solemnities, public ceremonies and events at UFRN. It will use as a theoretical basis concepts about institutional image, as well as Ceremonial and Protocol in Public Administration with a focus on federal universities. Methodologically, it is characterized as a preliminary intervention project that will carry out exploratory and documentary research to build an action plan. This plan will be prepared based on the adapted 5w2h Matrix and will be evaluated by employees from UFRN academic units using the focus group technique and the data will be processed through content analysis.
