The purpose of the intervention described here is to build a purchasing model for the IFPB - Campina Grande Campus, which is in accordance with the current environmental legislation and the sustainability assumptions, which contributes to the protection of the environment. Thus, it is proposed to define the inclusion of sustainability criteria in the bidding processes for the acquisition of goods, to make changes in the bidding documents to adapt them to environmental legislation, establishing also the implementation rules and methods for evaluating the results achieved so that corrections Required. In order to build a sustainable bidding model appropriate to the IFPB - Campina Grande Campus, a series of models implemented by federal and other public bodies and institutions will be evaluated, as well as by a wide range of research in federal legislation Which deals with sustainable bids. In addition, interviews will be held with the directors, department heads of the institution and the main coordinators requesting the most requested material groups to verify if there is support from the management to implement the modifications that will be proposed in this work. This study adopts characteristics of applied research, exploratory objective and qualitative approach. The procedures will be the bibliographical and documentary research with the support of interviews.
