This research project is focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities in an educational institution, focusing mainly on the activity of management. The research aims to understand what are the challenges faced by the department that aims to manage the typical demands of inclusion and may understand how students with disabilities perceive and evaluate the activities arising from the institution that are geared specifically to them. To support the research were sought historical, theoretical, normative and political elements of inclusion in different times and places, mainly in Brazil. In order to discover more of the institutional reality pro-inclusion of IFPB an interview will be held with the management of such coordination, and focus groups with students and graduates. It is hoped that the results contribute to the knowledge in the area, as well as the management of public policies for students with disabilities. This research can trigger new perspectives on the issue of inclusion and help institutions plan their policies with a special look at the issue of disability.
