The institutionalisation of Sustainability at the Federal Institute of Paraíba: Campus João Pessoa case

This work aims to analyse in what stage of institutionalization is the IFPB – João Pessoa Campus as Organizational sustainability. To achieve the overall objective of this study were outlined three specific objectives, namely: raise the normative framework on sustainability of the institution; mapping the practices and/or actions related to sustainability in the context of the institution; analyzing the perception of managers regarding the conformation of organizational sustainability practices and actions placed in the institution. To this end, the study is based on the theory of Tolbert and Zucker (1998) that subdivides the institutionalization process in three stages: habitualização, objectification and sedimentation. As the methodology this research is characterized as qualitative, descriptive/exploratory purposes and case study. Data collection will take place through the analysis of documents and semi-structured interviews. For the data analysis research will be worth of content analysis.
