ACCESSIBILITY POLICY: THE MANAGEMENT OF INSTITUTIONAL RESOURCES FOR THE ACCESSIBILITY OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AT UFCA
Accessibility; Inclusion, Higher Education; Disabled student
Accessibility in Federal Institutions of Higher Education must be an essential feature in a dialogic space, which values differences and the construction of a society with less social inequalities. In this sense, the present intervention project aims to propose an institutional accessibility plan built collectively with all instances of UFCA. The present research is of the applied type, as it proposes to improve the understanding of specific organizational problems, create solutions to problems and develop conclusions of practical relevance for the institution's managers (PEROVANO, 2017). It is expected that from the identification of the main accessibility barriers, institutional actions will be developed in order to promote the permanence, participation and learning of students with disabilities in graduation.
