Information and Communication Technologies. E-Learning. Professional Training. Tourism.
E-Learning (online education) is recognized for offering flexibility in terms of both time and investment for its users. In recent years, this modality has expanded, being increasingly adopted by educational institutions and companies linked to the tourism sector. In this context, brazilian companies, both private and public, and the Ministry of Tourism (MTur) in particular, stands out, playing a relevant role in establishing policies and programs aimed at professional training and qualification in the country. In view of this, the study aims to analyze the actions of the MTur in the scope of e-Learning and professional training in the tourism sector. The research is characterized as descriptive and exploratory and adopts qualitative and quantitative approaches. In addition, a Systematic Literature Review was carried out in order to avoid duplication of existing studies, as well as to enable the identification, in scientific studies, of possible gaps, as well as areas for improvement. Regarding data collection, bibliographic and documentary research, semi-structured interviews and application of questionnaires will be carried out. The analysis and processing of qualitative data will be performed using Bardin's Content Analysis (1977), which will be carried out based on dialogue with public managers responsible for the courses offered by e-Learning; the questionnaires will be applied to the course participants and will be analyzed using statistical software, such as IBM SPSS. It is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the debate on professional qualification through e-Learning, promoting reflections and pointing out areas for improvement for the continuous enhancement of this training modality.
