AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL FRAGMENTS OF A JOURNEY IN THEATER: from house songs to group theater
Memory, Group Theater, Autobiography.
This dissertation is the result of autobiographical research aimed at understanding how childhood experiences in the neighborhood of Paraíso, in the city of Santa Cruz/RN, play out in the theatrical work of the playwright-actor-researcher Caju Dantas. In this sense, the object investigated is a set of memories of theatrical learning that took place from childhood to the present day. The study addresses concepts such as the playing body, group theater pedagogy and the social role of the theatrical phenomenon and the artist, illuminating the intersections between tradition, memory and artistic creation.
