Semi-analytical fluid flow simulator for closed homogeneous reservoirs using the point source solution applied to the boundary element method

This work presents a semi-analytical fluid flow simulator for closed homogeneous reservoirs based on the Boundary Element Method (BEM) associated with the Green function for a point source in an infinite reservoir as the source equation. This method has known advantages over other discretization methods such as the Finite Element Method (FEM) including, but not restricted to, the reduction on discretization efforts. Coding has been done using the Python programming language associated to scientific libraries, thoroughly tested and applied on this area. The results were validated through a semi-analytical simulator previously tested generating accurate responses.
