Occupational Health, in the last twenty years, has become a relevant field of activity within the SUS, with the objective of intervening in the process of workers becoming ill at the three levels of SUS management, ensuring comprehensive care that encompasses promotion and protection, epidemiological and health surveillance, as well as assistance and health rehabilitation. In Brazil, in 2022, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Observatory, there were 612.9 thousand registered work accidents. The number of occupational accidents resulting in death reported for the population with formal employment was 2.5 thousand. These data point to a public health problem related to occupational injuries and place Brazil in fourth place worldwide in the number of fatal accidents. These data show that, in the work environment, there are several risks to individuals' health. These risks can be minimized or avoided through appropriate protective measures. Among the workers with high rates of accidents and illnesses are health workers. This project's general objective is to develop a permanent education program in worker's health for the matrix support of the Worker's Health and Safety Attention Centers (NASST) of the Health Secretariat of Public Health of Rio Grande do Sul. North. This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, whose methodological path adopted will be action research, based on the contributions of Michel Thiollent (2011). The research will be developed within the scope of the State Secretariat of Public Health of RN (SESAP), the study participants will be employees of this secretariat, who work in the 14 NASSTs. The first stage of the project will begin with a workshop and agreement to present the research. In the second stage, data collection will take place through semi-structured interviews. Based on the analysis of these stages, in the third stage of the research, operative groups will be carried out, with participants from the NASSTs and at least two other professionals from the central level of NESST-SESAP. The data analysis adopted will be the content analysis proposed by Laurence Bardin (2016) and the qualitative analysis program Atlas ti version 9.0 will be used to organize and process the data. In view of this, it is expected that the result of this study will contribute to the officialization of an educational program, for the continuous improvement of the qualification of the work process of professionals who work in the NASSTs of the health care network of the State Government of RN, promoting thus providing matrix support in a tangible, concrete and permanent way, aiming to achieve the expected quality for implementing the national and state Workers' Health policy.
