Health education is an essential pedagogical process for promoting the autonomy of individuals and improving quality of life, contributing to the strengthening of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). In hospital settings, such practices aim not only at health promotion but also at guiding patients and families, preventing complications, and humanizing care. However, it is observed that professionals face challenges that compromise the continuity and effectiveness of these actions. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to contribute to the improvement of health education practices carried out by the multidisciplinary team at the Júlio Bandeira University Hospital (HUJB). This is a descriptive and exploratory field research study with a qualitative approach, to be developed at HUJB. The study population will consist of professionals from the hospital's multidisciplinary team. Data will be collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the content analysis technique proposed by Bardin, with the aid of the ATLAS.ti software. The resulting technical and technological product will be a practical guide with strategies for improving educational practices in healthcare, developed based on the participants' statements and the theoretical frameworks of the field. It is important to note that the study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in accordance with Resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council. After data collection and systematization, it is expected that the results will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the healthcare field and support the improvement of educational practices in the hospital environment, promoting the continuous improvement of the approaches used by professionals.
