This study presents a discussion on the teaching of Beach Tennis as a Didactic Unit (DU) in Physical Education classes, with the general objective of: Implementing and analyzing a Didactic Unit of Beach Tennis in Physical Education classes for Elementary School students, using a game-based methodology. The target audience for the project were 7th-grade students from the Osmar de Aquino Municipal Elementary School. The research adopted a methodological approach of a qualitative nature, characterized as intervention research. A game-based methodology was applied over 12 classes to encourage active student participation. The instruments used for data collection were: a diagnostic questionnaire, an evaluative questionnaire for the DU, as well as audio recordings of discussions at the end of the class, photographic records and video recordings, through participant observation, and, finally, a field diary. In this sense, after data collection, the analysis was carried out using Bardin's thematic or categorical analysis strategy. As an educational resource, an e-book was created containing a didactic sequence focused on the teaching of Beach Tennis, aiming to support Physical Education teachers who face difficulties such as: a lack of teaching materials, little knowledge about BT, and the high cost of the sport. It is expected that the Didactic Unit will contribute to the students': holistic development, increased participation in physical activities, and expanded learning of new sports in the school environment.
